TUTORIAL! How to do stringy blood effect.

Description

Tools required:
Tweezers
Superglue
UHU extra all purpose adhesive gel
Tooth picks
Thin fishing line
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
A piece of plasticard
Old paint brush
And a trusty craft knife

STEP 1:
Measure a few piece of fishing line to fit between claws/teeth/buzzblades/intestines...
Don't worry too much about being neat, you will cover the ends later.

STEP 2:
Glue the line in place with super glue, I found that only using 4 pieces was enough to give me a frame to work around.

STEP 3:
Put a blob of the UHU glue on the plasticard and grab your toothpics, (this is where themic starts to happen) using both hands, spread the glue across the line and joining on to the model in question. You'll find as you try to move the glue around it will stretch, use one hand to pin the glue, whilst the other moves and stretches the glue, on to points or wrapping around the ends of claws to break of that blood trail.

Cover up the ends and any joins you have made with this glue, no need to be neat, in this case the Broodlord has just killed some poor marine, like hell it cares about being covered in gore.

STEP 4:
Leave the UHU glue to set for a minute or two and then, using one of those old paint brushes we all keep around for some reason, add the fantastic paint GW brought out to get that lovely blood look. Again no need to be neat, make sure you cover the glue and line, as well as parts on the model to show the blood running all over along with a bit of splatter.

Hope you liked the tutorial, this is also a first for me. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
